Design Gallery

Every piece below started as either a customer's idea or an original Thread Domain design. The gallery shows what is possible across our product range and gives a sense of how different artwork styles translate onto different products. All pieces are printed using sublimation for permanent, crack-free colour.

Custom footwear

Footwear is our most-ordered custom category. The curved panels of a shoe make every design unique. Here are some representative pieces from recent orders:

• Galaxy-print combat boots. A deep-space nebula design wrapped across both boots. The customer provided a NASA photograph and we adapted it to fit the boot panels. The dark tones hide wear well and the print wraps seamlessly around the lacing panels.
• Pet portrait sneakers. A customer sent high-resolution photographs of their two dogs. We placed one dog on each shoe with a geometric background pattern in matching colours. This style of order is surprisingly common and makes a memorable gift.
• Band merchandise boots. An independent musician ordered 50 pairs of custom ankle boots with their album artwork for sale at concerts. Bulk orders like this get a per-pair discount and consistent quality across the run.
• Wedding sneakers. Bride and groom sneakers with matching floral patterns and the wedding date printed on the heel panel. These have become one of our most popular custom categories.

Custom apparel

Hoodies, leggings, and bathrobes in custom prints. The same sublimation process, applied to flat garment panels before sewing. A few examples:

• Tropical-print hoodie set. A matching hoodie and jogger set in a hand-painted tropical leaf pattern. The customer provided their own watercolour artwork and we tiled it across the panels for a seamless repeat.
• Team leggings. A dance team ordered 30 pairs of custom leggings with their team logo and a gradient colour scheme. The stretchy polyester holds sublimation prints without distortion even at full stretch.
• Photo-collage bathrobe. A novelty gift order: a bathrobe covered in family photos arranged in a grid. The print quality was sharp enough that individual faces were recognisable at arm's length.

Home textiles

Hooded blankets, duvet covers, and cushions. These are the products where large-scale artwork really shines because the print area is generous.

• Abstract art hooded blanket. An artist reproduced one of their large-format paintings across a hooded blanket. The 150cm width gave enough space for the full composition without cropping.
• Memorial photo blanket. A family compiled photographs spanning four generations and arranged them in a mosaic across a fleece blanket. These memorial pieces are handled with particular care during production.
